Ashley and Brad's Wedding!

Ashley's wedding was a fairytale. It made me want to get married again! Yes, still to Scottie! It was a great day. A beautiful ceremony at the Salt Lake Temple. Luncheon at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and a reception with all the candy you could eat :) Oh yeah it was also in a beautiful canyon. The kids were so cute in the Tuxedos and Maddie was a princess in her matching dress and ruby red slippers. She wanted to know why she didn't get a crown like Ashley's. I told her it was Ashley's day to be a princess and she could have her own day in thirty years :) Everyone looked so nice and Ashley and Brad are perfect together. We are so glad we got to come out for the wedding!

Westin Apple Fest

We went to Westin for the annual Annual Apple Fest parade and carnival. It is a cute town that reminds us of Park City. The kids love the pony rides and playground. We love the fresh apple pie and brownies!

Pumkin Patch Fun

They have playgrounds and pedal tractors, trains and sand diggers. An old fort and pond and pumpkin doughnuts. What more could a kid want?

Carolyn's Pumkin Patch

Our playgroup went to Carolyn's Country Cousin's Pumpkin Patch. They took us on a wagon ride through the pumkin patches and the kids got to pick their favorite pumpkin right out of the patch.

A terrifying Joshua Vader scares Heather, Abbie, and Paige

Grandma Margie, Unlce Rod, Aunt Terri, Tennison, and Grandpa Gary playing games
We had an Early Thanksgiving at Terri's house. After a wonderful Turkey dinner we had a white elephant present exchange and played games. Heather and the boys came out for the night. It was so great to see everyone again. The kids were so excited over their gifts and loved playing with the cousins. Thanks Terri for hosting the night!

Brownie Time with Grammy Pammy

Mmm..Mom never lets us do this

Suprise..sorry to all who ate these brownies
Grammy Pammy lets the kids go at the brownie batter. They got tired of licking the bowl and went straight for the good stuff. Check out Cooper's brownie mustache!

American Royal Rodeo

Braydo with the bull
Maddie's class

We went the the American Royal Rodeo with Maddie's preschool class. The kids got to meet all the rodeo animals up close and personal. The even learned how cows are milked today and got to make butter with a churn. Maddie's teacher (Mrs. Mabion) got to chase down a goat and tie a ribbon on it's tail. She had the fastest time and won tickets to the big rodeo that weekend! The highlight of the fieldtrip was Ronald McDonald. The kids were mildly excited about horses and bulls but once Ronald came out they went crazy! Mutton Bustin was my favorite. They have kids from 3 to 6 ride sheep like bulls. It was hilarious!

KC Zoo!

Braydo loves the tigers!

Feed the birds! The zoo guide told us what goes in must come out but if a bird pooped on us it was good luck and we should go buy a power ball ticket. I accidentaly dropped my first cup of nectar and it splashed all over Scott so the birds were all over him and one (or maybe two by the looks of it) pooped all down Scott's back! He says he is going to get his powerball ticket tommorrow. Wish him luck!

Our annual playgroup Halloween Party at the church. We decorated Bat and Pumpkin Sugar Cookies, pinned the nose on the Jack o Lantern and made witch and bat decorations. It was fun to see all of our friends dressed up in their costumes.
